JAZZ up a wall

You could do it in a day - with a stencil…..

It took me 3 days to complete this but because I was of coarse working on like 6 other projects at the time.  I totally think this could have been done in a day, if it were the only project I was working on......
I’ve been wanting to do this to a bedroom wall but, decided to jazz up the living room for my “Stock My Bar” party

I think the picture are pretty self explanatory......

{but if you have any questions, please leave in comments and I will get back to you}

I totally messed up here on the gold you see I wanted to try and make it darker so I left stencil on to dry and then applied a second coat of gold.....and do you know what happened?

The paint dried and peeled off with the stencil....
Lesson learned

See the chipping in the gold I fixed it later by just reapplying after it was dry {and removing stencil right away ;-)}

Paint didn’t cost me anything for this project as I had Martha Stewart's paints in Silver & Gold left over from the coffee table

And this project only cost me $28.75 for the stencil as I already had the left over paint and there is still plenty left over......

And this is the pretty awesome (if I do say so myself) before & after of the living room wall
