my thrifty weekend finds

this weekend was my birthday and I kinda thought I wouldn’t get the chance to go thriftying as I was headed down the shore (just writing that makes me sooooo jersey lol) and I know some of you will say whattttttttt you could totally go thriftying down the shore there are some great thrift shops out there and I totally agree but I was going down with a bunch of friends for a party on Sat night to ring in my birthday right ja ha ha and we headed home Sun morning

I’ve decided I will be dyslexic this year and claim to be 34

But don’t be surprised if my bar gets stocked this year with bottles of 43 as I find that liquor yummy and think I will make that my drink of choice this year to commemorate my real age lol

anyway I took Friday off to start celebrating & prepping see Mani/Pedi pic below and my wonderful awesome niece took me to lunch & then a quick stop at Goodwill she luff’s her Kea and I love her

Have I mentioned always look for this sign in goodwill stores



I love these liquor frames I think they will look so cute on wall across from the bar

only 1 white milk glass vase to add to the collection but at 99cents awesome find right??

Goodwill Reward Points

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before but did you know you could sign up for reward points and every 100 points you get a $10 credit cha ching

so all this only cost me 7.59 and I’m on my way with more points yay!!
so then it was time for mani/pedi as I shared in instagram you can follow me there @makinmyaptahome

when I got home I washed and scrubed everything and this is how great my lil mobile fireplace is now coming together

I just love love love all the crystal shining with the glow of the candles it’s my favorite way to unwind by lighting it and just sitting to watch with my favorite cocktail at hand…
on Sunday (my birthday) I spent it with my sister and our bestie Chino and our kids by the pool it was great I cant ask for a better time
