my plants

I think I have a green thumb but I thought I would really test that theory by posting for you (the whole world) lol
to see… and be the judge – I figure I would do this again in a few months and we’ll see if my thumb iz real green (now you can be the JUDGE)

In the sunroom –not its regular spot but I'm working on bar on the other side of the room so for now its here.
In the sunroom- Just got this plant about a week ago in home depot and a hook I need to hang  its an upcoming job for my friend Chino shhhhhhhh don’t tell him (his list getting longer…there’s ledges first &foremost I already made an appt with him for that for sat 3/10) lol

In closet II - this plant made the move w me it now lives in my closet II I think its thriving

In Living room - this one I bought in Sept 2011 upon moving here
In Kitchen-this one used to belong to my friend Leslie many moons ago and I have killled it and brought it back a few times over the yrs so I am hoping its back on the mend

In Kitchen -this one made the move but hasn’t found a good spot yet…..

In Kitchen- bought this one on sale Sept 2011 cause it was dying look at her now sweet….

In Kitchen – my water plants and the hanging one was a gift from uncle jimmy when he came to live w me
So if your counting that’s 11 altogether I gots me a lil forest I think but hey they either make or clean the air I don’t know which but I’ve heard having plants is good
And so I moved this one its now in Bathroom let’s see how long it last here lol

he lures me in with Paint ….

he lures me in with paint….and then!!! who ends up washing his lil toy collection by hand and drying each one ughhhhhhhhhhhh

I was also not happy it was beige paint ughhhhhh but Chino gets it free from his rental co so beige it is!!

Notice how he conveniently forgot to move below toy collection …… hmmmm

these toys are his “thing” I don’t understand it or like it but its his thing not mine

the things we do for friends:  he moves furniture for me I wash his toys

my closet II

it’s a walk in!! I had converted a playroom in my old apt into a walk in closet off my bedroom and it’s one of the things I was most sorry to give up………

when I went apt hunting last year but the fist time I visited this apt (where I'm living now) and saw this small room off the sun room attached to my bedroom (what I like to call my “bedroom suite” ((& I do air quotes)) when I'm giving any first time visitor to my apt – the full tour)

I knew this would be my walk in closet II & on steroids lol (compared to my old place) and boy it totally is this is totally still a work in progress but let me show you how its coming along….

this is a long pictured filled one get something to drink…..

day 1 and maybe first week I lived out of boxes

and then one glorious saturday my bestie Chino came over to do his magic see below…

I painted the hooks black to jazz it up a lilthis was all stuff from my old apt walk in closet it spread over two small walls and Chino reworked it to do this yay!!!!

when I walked in he had hung some stuff up awwwww ( I took it all down and redid my way but gotta luff him for trying)

it looked this way for a a couple of months …..

 

and then I finally added some curtain’s  let’s remember this is a closet don’t judge I’ve only lived here maybe 3/4 months when this pic taken

then I decided to use (black & white)shoe thingy below  as a purse organizer see I have a bit of shoe/purse thing I don’t like to call it a habit it makes it sound dirty….

I don’t know how much you pay attention to the details in the pics but yes I do stack restack unstack and move things around kinda weekly to see where something might end up making sense

some of the details I'm developing a jewelry habit …. here’s how I display it so ill remember to wear it I used to keep it in boxes but then always forgot to wear it does that happen to you?

then I had to rearrange…….. move things over….

Thrifting Presidents Day

Did you know most thrift shops hold sales!! no me either till my lil sista told me ja ha ha oh she is sorry now....

So I only woke her up this morning at 11 (which i thought was pretty nice of me i mean come on half the day is gone) but she is working 2 jobs right now so she does deserve some rest anyways bac to my story i wake her at 11 & we meet up at 4 pm (that's my sista's story god only knows) lol and were off to go thrifting

We hit two different Unique Thrift shops and here's what i got....

would you beleive all i spent was 37.50 oh yeah!!
