As part of the NewBlogger Series I thought it would be fun to do guest postings on each other’s blogs to help each other grow our blogs.

We had such an amazing time last time, so we’re doing it again!  If you missed the last Trading Blogs party you can check out the recap here!

How does it work?

1. Head to the TBGGP post on Serendipity and Spice and sign up.
2. Melissa will partner you with another blogger.
3. You write up your post and send it to your partner.
4. You post your partner's post on your blog.

jewelry tray II

Can you believe I found another one??  Well actually my friend Ja of JCostaPhotography spotted it for me.  When we went on a lil Goodwill mission for a photo shoot she had. Do you rember my first tray? (if not go here) and now for the contrasting partner

See the first tray had gold hardware so painted it silver
and this  tray has silver hardware..... so 1 guess what color this tray will go...

And do you believe it was $1.99 oh yeah see why thrifting is my new "thing" hee hee
so after i get this home & wash it i let it dry overnight

and then this lil miracle tube comes onto the scene.....




it really doesn't take allot see how much I'm using this will cover practically the whole top


and this is how much i used for the bottom


can you already see the huge improvement oh yeah!!!!


Here's where i started the bottom part of tray


found a lil sticker on the bottom "made in Taiwan" will have to add another
"revamped in USA" w Rubb n Buff lol

hello to all if you’ve been following me than you know I have a teenager/monster and at the moment she is grounded (ok so its allot of moments this year but who’s counting certainly not her smh…)

and as she was beyond bored (I’m guessing) this is what I woke up to this morning when I checked on her…..

and as she walks into the house (from walking Coco) she catches me snapping these pics and yells “this better not go on your blog” ja ha ha she wishes

of coarse this is all my fault as I didn’t realize I had to hide the chalk from my teenager ughhhhhhhhh

thank god its chalk

bedroom reveal - bookcases revamp

Hello all  - Hope you having a beautifully productive week

I myself spent my Sunday (last weekend) revamping the bookcases that are located on both sides of my bed.  I have shared these bookcases before {here} but had not revealed my bedroom as i was hoping to have it totally revamped before the big reveal.  This is a New Year's goal but i figured if i keep putting it off i would never show you .... and maybe if i show you - you will push me to get it done

so here goes
a look from living room into bedroom

I love to say when giving a tour of my apt and now for the “piece de résistance” my bedroom suite…..

inside these doors leads to my bedroom, the sunroom {post & aspirations for it to come soon} & closet II which is past the sunroom to the right

to the right there is my next makeover piece big biege thing ;)  (got them here) and a box of frames I'm trying to get thru and revamp  for the ledges

I totally worship and pray for a tufted headboard!!! It  would look amazing no??? and I had wanted round tables (in white or mirror) but I'm kinda liking the bookshelves now……And where that lil center sconce is where I want to replace with this kind of art I'm  thinking this will look awesome above the bed

and here’s the one to the right – yes there not matching papers I kinda like the contrast but am loving the one above and will probable redo below to match.... What do you think would you leave them different??

then CoCo comes in like “Ma what you taking pics of??”
